The students acquire excellent communication and interactive skills with a good all round personality development through the various extra curricular activities like sports, debating, quiz, cultural exchange programmes, NCC, etc.
The college has been organizing a National Level Techno fest in which the students from all over the country participate in the various events like Paper Presentation, Model Presentation & Technical Workshops. Various dignitaries like Chief Minister of Assam, eminent economist Dr. Man Mohan Singh, Governor General of Assam, etc. have visited the college in the past.
The college has a permanent ISTE student chapter which organizes Seminars, Workshops and other activities throughout the year.
